About the App

Japanese Cards is a focused flashcard app for studying vocabulary, kanji, grammar, and reading material in one place. Create your own stacks and build cards with natural Japanese formatting using kanji, optional hiragana readings (displayed as furigana), and back-side definitions or notes. Review your cards over time using a structured spaced repetition system designed for long-term retention.

• Review cards using a simple pass / fail spaced repetition system
• Use reverse mode to test recall from the meaning side
• Cycle-5 practice mode for automatic targeted repetition of the top five cards in the current stack
• Track times seen, creation date, and upcoming review intervals
• Export and import backups in JSON format

Support

• Saved data: Your stacks, cards, and review progress are stored locally on your device.
• Backups: Use the JSON export feature before moving devices or making major edits to your study data.
• Importing backups: Importing a JSON backup is intended for restoring or transferring your own app data. Double-check the file before importing.
• Review schedule: Next review dates depend on your previous results, so dates will change as you pass or fail cards.
• Unexpected behavior: Fully close and reopen the app first. If a problem continues, include the iPhone model and iOS version in your report.

Privacy Policy

Japanese Cards does not collect, sell, or transmit personal data to external servers. Your flashcards, stack names, review history, and preferences remain on your device unless you explicitly export a backup. If your device uses system backup services such as iCloud Backup, app data may be included according to Apple's normal backup behavior.

アプリについて

Japanese Cards は、語彙、漢字、文法、読書素材などをひとつの場所で学べる、集中して使えるフラッシュカードアプリです。 自分専用のスタックを作成し、漢字、任意のひらがな読み（ふりがな）、裏面の意味やメモを使って、日本語らしい形でカードを作成できます。 復習は、長期記憶への定着を意識した間隔反復システムに沿って進められます。

• 自分用の学習スタックを作成・整理
• 表面の語句、任意のひらがな読み（ふりがな）、裏面の意味やメモを持つカードを追加
• 正解 / 不正解のシンプルな間隔反復システムで復習
• 意味側から思い出す力を試せる Reverse Mode に対応
• 現在のスタック内の上位5枚を自動で重点的に繰り返し練習できる Cycle-5 Practice を搭載
• 閲覧回数、作成日、次回の復習タイミングを確認可能
• JSON形式でバックアップの書き出し / 読み込みが可能

サポート

• 保存データ: スタック、カード、復習の進捗は端末内に保存されます。
• バックアップ: 機種変更や大きな編集を行う前に、JSON書き出し機能でバックアップを作成してください。
• バックアップの読み込み: JSONの読み込みは、自分のアプリデータの復元や移行を想定しています。読み込む前に内容をご確認ください。
• 復習スケジュール: 次回復習日は直前の学習結果に応じて変化するため、正解・不正解によって日付が更新されます。
• 動作が不安定な場合: まずアプリを完全に終了してから再起動してください。問題が続く場合は、iPhoneの機種名とiOSのバージョンもあわせてご連絡ください。

プライバシーポリシー

Japanese Cards は、個人情報を外部サーバーへ収集・販売・送信しません。 フラッシュカード、スタック名、復習履歴、各種設定は、ユーザーが明示的にバックアップを書き出さない限り端末内に保持されます。 iCloud バックアップなどのシステムバックアップを利用している場合は、Apple の通常のバックアップ仕様に従って保存されることがあります。
